In 1994, our sister company Langmead Farms was a major supplier of fresh salad leaves to Tesco.

Tesco asked us to produce a new range of high quality ready-to-eat salads. In order to offer complete exclusivity across the new ranges we established a separate company called Natures Way Foods beginning the journey that led to where we are today.

Our interesting and innovative bagged salads quickly became a big success. The first four years went so well that the company doubled in size every year and soon we were supplying other large retailers and food service customers. By 1999 we were delighted to be placed 29th in the Sunday Times Virgin Fastrack 100 - making us the fastest growing food company in the UK.
