Prepared Salad

Our journey began in 1994 when Langmead Farms, our sister company and supplier of wholehead lettuce, was asked to transform the way we eat salad.

The result was Natures Way Foods, a processing company dedicated to supplying washed and ready to eat bagged salad.

At Natures Way Foods we are extremely proud of what we have achieved. We believe our secret lies in our ability to source and process quality, fresh lettuce and fruit and to provide 100% commitment to all our customers. Our high standards and dedicated workforce have contributed enormously to our success.

With our emphasis on using high quality raw materials and our state-of-the-art processing facilities, we are amongst the most technologically advanced produce companies in the world. We also work very closely with our suppliers and have a strong green agenda on packaging and waste disposal.

Prepared Fruit

Building on the success in bagged salad, Natures Way Foods continued to explore other prepared produce opportunities. With consumers looking for convenience and healthy eating solutions, prepared fruit became an obvious and exciting area to explore.

From the first ideas it took us under a year to open our fruit factory at the Selsey site with the latest technology in fruit cleaning and sanitisation.

In October 2006 we launched our 1st range of products into Morrisons. The ready-to-eat fruit market is growing rapidly as consumers recognise its convenience and seek to purchase more exotic fruits like pomegranate, blueberries and papaya. Our innovation, development and supply chain teams work closely with our suppliers in new variety development to ensure we deliver the best quality and flavoured products to our customers. 

In recent years, we've made significant investments in our Selsey facility and have doubled the size of our Runcton site. In 2002, we were very proud to receive the Investors in People accreditation and in 2006 we were presented with the Chichester Green Business of the Year award.
