Selsey and Runcton are located between the Isle of Wight and Bognor Regis on the South Coast, enjoying some of the longest light hours in the UK.

We are located in the ideal spot for growing salads. The sea spreads cool air over the land in the summer and then reflects the winter sun - acting as a natural radiator that reduces frosts. This unique combination of good light, fertile soil and mild temperatures means our factories are perfectly placed to package the freshest salads.

When the UK's winter climate becomes too cold to grow lettuce, we source our raw material from further afield, from France, Spain and Italy. With warmer winter climates, southern Europe provides ideal salad growing conditions.

In these countries, even in winter the average temperature is higher than the UK, providing ideal salad growing conditions.
