Natures Way volunteers have been braving the cold and wet to help the Manhood Wildlife and Heritage Group with their habitat conservation work. During the Autumn and Winter months the group, made up solely of local volunteers, focuses on projects such as ditch clearance, pond maintenance and willow coppicing, all of which are vital in the conservation of wildlife, such as the endangered water vole. After months of training the time finally came for two of our employees to put themselves to the test, mentally and physically. Running in the Royal Parks Half Marathon, Emma Webster, Health and Safety Officer raised £656 for Youthnet and Darren Boyce, Engineering Manager, competing in the Great South Run raised over £1000 for Leukemia Research. 14.08.08 | Field To Fork School Tour Launch

The sun was shining and the sky was blue, so we couldn’t have asked for better weather to launch our new Field to Fork school tours. A key aspect of our Community Plan, the tours invite local school children, aged 7 to 14 years old, to come and spend the day with us. In conjunction with Langmead Farms, we showed them how lettuce is grown, harvested, processed and packaged in our factory. Read more »
