We have a Leadership Programme, a Management Development Plan, as well as three tiers of operatives to ensure that our production staff are working to the best of their ability.

This tiered operative training has been custom-made for Natures Way Foods, and gives our production staff the tools and techniques they need, alongside different ways of working. It also creates an achievement measuring system to support staff progression throughout our business.
Our Apprenticeship Scheme launched in 2012 for Engineering, and was extended to Technical a year later. We work with local schools and colleges to attract talent into the business, and always hope to offer a permanent role at the end of the apprenticeship

We also work with the Management Development Services programme, aiming to take on at least one placement student each season into disciplines such as Innovation, New Product Development and Engineering. We have gone on to employ students from the MDS programme into various roles, from Executive Board to Sales and Supply Chain Management.
