Before NWF:
My career began as an apprentice production engineer, in the specialist vehicle industry. After completing my apprenticeship I was taken on by my sponsoring company, as a CNC Setter/Programmer and spent a further 4 years building my knowledge and experience in the field of one off and small batch manufacturing.  It was during this time I had my first chance to manage a team of people and I was then promoted to machine shop supervisor, managing a small team and a workshop full of machines.

Describe what you do at NWF:
As a Team Manager I am responsible for the day to day operational management of our factories, ensuring our customers receive the best quality products and service levels possible, every day of the year.  Alongside this I spend a lot of time working with the Senior Management team to plan the medium to long term challenges facing the business.

What do you enjoy about your job:
NWF is a great place to work. I enjoy the daily challenge and fast pace that being in a short shelf life environment brings, coupled with the one team attitude and enthusiasm of the people I work with.

What do you like about working at NWF as a company/organisation:
It's a pleasure to work in a business which is constantly growing, striving to improve and change for the benefit of its customers, employees and shareholders. It makes for an exciting ever changing environment.
