NWF team gets hands on at Foodbank

NWF team spend eight hours reorganising stock at Portsmouth Foodbank

A team from NWF spent eight hours reorganising the entire stock of Portsmouth Foodbank last week.

The team got hands on helping Foodbank volunteers sort, date and pack hundreds of crates of food at the Kings Church Hall. From bacon crisps to Bolognese sauce, items were stocked ready for distribution as emergency food parcels to local people in crisis.

The day with the NWF team was great. In the next few months we're hoping to build a new warehouse for our food so the team helped sort the food ready for this move. We are very grateful for the effort they put in.
